I had never brought my dogs to stay in a hotel before and I was shocked at how accepting and kind everyone was about that situation! My husband and I were staying in this location because we were moving (driving) from Kentucky to Florida. I have one large dog (golden retriever,) and one small but rude dog (jack russel/dachsund mix) and they were both welcomed like any other guest- the hotel was so clean and smelled good and I guess I expected it to be a mistake that my dogs were allowed! lol Everyone was super nice, our room was large and comfortable, I will definitely stay here again when I make the drive to visit family in the future!

right off 75 on a traveling trip with our cat. Loved the large clean room; so tired ,so ordered delivery pizza and enjoyed sofa area and tv rest. very comfortable beds and the breakfast was outstanding with make your own malt waffles, fresh fruit, eggs, bagels, fresh juices and great bottomless coffee! will stay again. One hint, if traveling with a pet, request bottom floor; long shelp up to the fourth floor with all their goodies! Also, loved the fresh chocolate chip cookies!

The hotel I usually stay at in Valdosta, was under renovation. I have stayed/enjoyed the Home 2 by Hilton at other locations, so booked here. A bit hard to actually see/find due mainly to the busy traffic on the road/hwy in front, but easy enough. Room and staff were as expected - clean and friendly/courteous. Room was nice and experienced no problems.

We got there, and within 10 minutes of checking in, we got a family emergency phone call. My father had a stroke and was being life flighted to a bigger trauma hospital. We were told they did not know if he would make it. So I told the front desk clerk. He said there would be no charge for the night.

The room was as nice as many more expensive hotels I have stayed in. The finishes in the room add to the experience. The kitchen area is so well designed. I wanted to take the bedding home it was so soft and the perfect weight for summer. The staff and grounds were exceptional!
